Welcome to the authentic Vada’s Vittles web site by author, Millicent Elaine Williams and Thanks for stopping by. My first book, Vada’s Vittles landed in bookstores in December 2014 and I’m so grateful for the number of people who downloaded an electronic copy, purchased the book on line, or to those of you who brought your love and energy to one of my book signings.
I’m truly much more of a one to one person, because I do better when I can give and receive undivided attention, but I want to fully embrace the opportunity to communicate with as many of you as I possibly can. Thank God for social media. What a valuable tool for creating relationships where people can share love, knowledge, experiences, information, affirmations, jokes, anecdotes, recipes, pictures etc.

Testimonials
I thought I was just going to get the book and check out the recipes….I was in bed Thursday recuperating and started to READ the book! I couldn’t put it down, it was all that you said it would be. I read most of it and completed it Friday. Wonderful! I haven’t read a whole book in many years.
You’ll never know how helpful it was in starting some emotional healing in me. Thank You! I passed it on to my daughter to read AND RETURN to me. It will not be in my library, I intend to keep it close at hand and probably read over again several times to see what I missed.
What a beautiful, detailed history and very well written book. I read a little each day coming in to work and going home from work on my trains (I take three for a total of 1-1/4 hr).
First I read “Vada’s Villagers” all the way through. At times I automatically laughed heartily and openly on the packed subways and at times I cried (good tears
I absolutely loved your book and the wonderful stories about your mom and your entire family. Thank you for sharing so much of your life. I truly feel blessed to have met you and always knew there was a definite purpose for God bringing us together. You are an amazing woman, Millicent, and your mom is as well. The greatest gift we can ever give and receive is love and I felt so much love “pouring” out of the pages as I read Vada’s Vittles. I am going to keep the book in my office and if you’re ever in the area, I would love to have you autograph the book.
