I thought I was just going to get the book and check out the recipes….I was in bed Thursday recuperating and started to READ the book! I couldn’t put it down, it was all that you said it would be. I read most of it and completed it Friday. Wonderful! I haven’t read a whole book in many years.

You’ll never know how helpful it was in starting some emotional healing in me. Thank You! I passed it on to my daughter to read AND RETURN to me. It will not be in my library, I intend to keep it close at hand and probably read over again several times to see what I missed.

What a beautiful, detailed history and very well written book. I read a little each day coming in to work and going home from work on my trains (I take three for a total of 1-1/4 hr).

I absolutely loved your book and the wonderful stories about your mom and your entire family. Thank you for sharing so much of your life. I truly feel blessed to have met you and always knew there was a definite purpose for God bringing us together. You are an amazing woman, Millicent, and your mom is as well. The greatest gift we can ever give and receive is love and I felt so much love “pouring” out of the pages as I read Vada’s Vittles. I am going to keep the book in my office and if you’re ever in the area, I would love to have you autograph the book.
